BIR Juniors Regatta Schedule 2018-2019

All Junior rowers, Varsity and Novice alike, compete in multiple regattas and scrimmages as part of the Fall Season and Spring Season rowing programs each year. Check back to this page for all the latest Regatta Schedule updates, including a full set of helpful links, as they become available.

For each event, you will find the regatta website (or for a scrimmage, the website of the hosting team), the regatta kitchen schedule, carpool details and, most importantly, the updated guide for each regatta from the BIR Parent Leadership Team (with directions, day-by-day schedules, items to bring, required documentation, and other helpful tips) a few days before the racing begins.

Reserve a stay for the nights of April 12 and 13. The rate is $129 plus tax. The rate includes breakfast. Reservation need to be made by March 22, 2019After March 22, rates are subject to availability.

Individuals may cancel guestrooms up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Should any individual cancel within 72 hours of arrival, they will be charged one night at the group rate of $129.00 plus 11.3% tax per room cancelled.

Parents’ Room Block for Bainbridge Island Rowing at Regionals—Red Lion Hotel on the River Jantzen Beach:

This information is for parents’ sleeping rooms only. The rowers’ hotel reservations are already taken care of.

Rowers are expected to stay with the team. Their rooms are at the same hotel.

If you are interested in chaperoning, it is a great way to stay for free.

Rooms are available May 16–May 19, 2019.

Bainbridge Island Rowing’s entire crew of rowers, parents and supporters are fed by the amazing all-volunteer efforts of the BIR Regatta Kitchen. Rowers (and kitchen volunteers!) eat for free; all others pay just a $5 donation.
