8th Grade Spring Info
The ‘Great-Eights’ program is designed as a positive and inspiring introduction to the sport of rowing for any and all 8th graders (coed). We employ a ground-up approach for the brand new athlete that aims to build their knowledge of equipment and safe practices, mechanics of the stroke and the principles of teamwork. For the ‘rowing-curious’, our first week focuses on familiarization and fundamentals: starting on land and then moving into the stable ‘barge’ on the water. Registration will be capped at 20 participants.
Dates: TBA
Practice Times: Mon and Wed 4-6pm, Sat 9:30-11:30am
Coach: Kristen Gagnon
Program Cost: $TBD
Spring Dues: $TBD
